Whidbey Island hospitality is known near and far thanks to the volunteers who have staffed the Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce information booth at Deception Pass for more than a decade.

All four Whidbey Island Windermere offices were closed Friday, June 19, for Community Service Day, as they do the third week in June every year. The Oak Harbor office helped build dreams while siding and landscaping a Habitat for Humanity house.
