Tall ships to return to Vashon’s quiet waters

More than a dozen tall ships, with masts up to 115 feet tall, will spend the night in outer Quartermaster Harbor before setting sail southward in a Parade of Sails at 8 a.m. on July 3.

Fiber, leather and lace grace Blue Heron
