Everything Bremerton: Nothing common about courtesy

In our opinion: If the kids are going to get tattooed, make it safe

Be it a ball point pen and a guitar string, a sewing needle and a bottle of India ink, or an unregulated practitioner in a basement, whatever, with society infatuated with actors, musicians and athletes, and so many of them tattooed, kids are going to emulate their heroes.

In our opinion: When chickens are outlawed, only outlaws will have chickens

Like chickens themselves, it’s a no-brainer. If people want to keep four female chickens — the non-noisy gender — for eggs, meat, pest control, whatever reason, they should be allowed to do so.

Everything Bremerton: Signs of neighborhood gang activity in Bremerton

In the past couple of years our neighborhood has seen a significant increase in the amount of street fighting, property damage and late night noise-making activity perpetrated by a particular type of local gang. This gang has no regard for private property. They will spend entire nights going where they choose, taking what they want and attacking any innocents they find along the way.
