The 21-year-old man was driving northbound at approximately 3 p.m. near milepost 193 when his Chevrolet Trailblazer collided with a second Trailblazer being driven by a 41-year-old Lake Stevens woman.
The woman's vehicle struck a guardrail on the right shoulder of I-5. The man's SUV then collided with a third vehicle, which struck a fourth vehicle.
