Wacky Wheelays set for July 12 at Bothell High

The ninth annual Wacky Wheelays, an all-inclusive community field day for people of varying abilities hosted by Northshore Baptist Church, will take place July 12 at Bothell High's track and soccer stadium. Registration begins at 3:15 p.m., games start at 4 p.m. and there will be a picnic at 5:45 p.m.

Kenmore takes Family Circle top-10 honors

Mayor David Baker knew about the honor for a week or so, but kept it under wraps. But now it's official: Family Circle magazine has named the city of Kenmore one of the 10 best towns and cities across the country for families. The city will be featured in the August issue that will hit newsstands July 7.
